Pigs and Turnips!

    It was a GRAND day on Sunday for the pigs when they were turned into the Turnip and Radish patch I planted.  Some of the turnip tops were four feet tall.  The pigs rooted, unearthed, and discovered…truly Hog Heaven!

“Haircuts & Pedicures”

It was our annual sheep shearing day on the farm and a of the few ewe’s lost their winter coat’s (the rest are Katahdin sheep and shed their hair)!  Everyone had their toenails cut as well!  They are all well groomed now!

Spring is here!

Spring is just about here.  The robins are arriving and so are the baby calves at our partner farm- The Gardner’s in northern Michigan.  Our calves and lambs will start in May and you can tell “The Old Pine Farm Mama’s are getting bigger”!  Here’s one of our newest!
